Cano Steel runs the scope other contractors don't want to own end-to-end — detailing, fabrication, and erection — because that's where steel jobs go sideways.
Most steel scopes in Southern California get split across three different shops: one detailer, one fabricator, one erector. Each hands off to the next, and the schedule and the quality bleed out at every handoff. Connection details don't match. Anchor bolts land wrong. The field crew shows up to steel that doesn't fit.
We run it under one roof. That means the person detailing the connection knows how it's going to be welded, and the welder knows how it's going to be picked and set. Nothing is translated twice.
The projects reflect that: commercial ground-up, tilt-up developments, tenant improvements, and custom luxury residential where the steel is doing something the wood can't. That's where we're useful.
